Biography:
After completion of my Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology in Venezuela, I have dedicated my whole life to sharing and exchanging knowledge on sports nutrition, exercise, and wellness through innovative and far-reaching educational activities. I have been a GSSI Advisor for Latin America for over 25 years, since 1997. Here are some numbers to show some of my achievements:
- I have produced more than 200 scientific and educational events (courses, seminars, workshops, and webinars) for GSSI, reaching more than 70,000 athletes and health professionals in Latin America.
- Directed and implemented GSSI sweat tests in more than 500 professional soccer team athletes, including Boca Juniors, Sao Paulo, Gremio, Palmeiras, Millonarios, Atlético de Medellín, Pumas UNAM and Caracas F.C., among others.
- Produced and delivered a Sports Nutrition college course for Universidad Central de Venezuela that has been taken by more than 700 students.
- And my favorite part: Travelling. I have been a Speaker on topics related to Sports Nutrition at more than 100 international scientific events in 20 countries.
I am not particularly eager to advertise this fact, but if I didn't have to pay some bills, buy new running shoes, or repair my bike, I’d do this job for free.
