Scientific Background:
Matt is a Principal Scientist at the GSSI Lab in Valhalla, NY. Prior to joining GSSI, Matt was a postdoctoral fellow at the AdventHealth Translational Research Institute under the mentorship of Dr. Paul Coen. Using human clinical trials, rodent studies, and cell culture models, Matt’s research has centered on identifying the molecular mechanisms associated with physical activity and nutrition that promote improved human health and performance. Matt has over 25 publications in exercise and muscle metabolism, including peer-reviewed manuscripts, invited reviews, commentaries, and book chapters.
