Athletic Background:
Grew up playing cricket, basketball, football (soccer) and swimming. Competed in swimming from middle school through college. Currently enjoys soccer and swimming recreationally.
SCIENTIFIC BACKGROUND:
Zadok is a Senior Scientist at the GSSI Satellite Lab at at Baylor, Scott, and White Sports Performance Center in Frisco, TX. Prior to joining GSSI, Zadok obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from Howard University where he competed collegiately in swimming. He moved on to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, completing a Master’s of Science in Biobehavioural Kinesiology, focusing on research in biomechanics in non-ambulatory individuals with neuromuscular disabilities.
Zadok then went on to spend four and a half years at Sanford Health, within their Sanford Sports Science Institute, as a Biomechanist. His work revolved around athlete testing, and lower-limb injury rehabilitation research. He spent a further two years at Apple as an Exercise Physiologist, working on wearable device testing in fitness. In his free time, Zadok enjoys playing and watching soccer, watching sports and reading.
