FRISCO

In 2018, GSSI opened a second US-based satellite research facility housed in the Baylor Scott & White Sports Therapy & Research building, located at the Star in Frisco, Texas. The new facility offers a variety of unique opportunities for GSSI: housed in a sports medicine facility; located on the campus of a professional sports organization; in close proximity to relevant cohorts of fitness athletes and competitive high school athletes, which in combination will afford GSSI an increased capability to answer sport specific research questions in lab and field-based settings.

The new GSSI facility, in partnership with the Baylor Sports Performance Center, includes state-of-the-art exercise physiology facilities for traditional and sport-specific testing, including an indoor/outdoor turf practice field, a basketball court and a dedicated recovery facility, all focused on providing a foundation for sports therapy and research.
