Justina played soccer and tennis competitively in high school, and immerses herself in various other sports in her leisure time.
SCIENTIFIC BACKGROUND: Justina is a Scientist at the GSSI satellite lab at IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL. Her responsibilities include working with both the GSSI at IMGA Research and the Athlete Service teams leading athlete and parent communication, athlete screening and scheduling, data input, and testing execution. She also works cross-functionally with PepsiCo in support of different innovation initiatives and knowledge management.
Justina earned her BS at Florida State University and her MS at the University of Tampa focusing in the areas of Exercise and Nutrition Science. She also has experience as a student observer at the Andrews Institute in Pensacola, FL which involved the active participation in athlete physical rehabilitation. In her spare time, Justina likes to go to the beach, travel, and spend time with friends and family.
