SCIENTIFIC BACKGROUND:
Shelby is a Senior Scientist at the GSSI Lab in Valhalla, NY with interests in using technology and research to support human and sport performance. Prior to GSSI, Shelby held industry positions with Under Armour and Catapult Sports. At Under Armour, she led recruitment and product testing for the Connected Footwear team and at Catapult Sports she supported both their GPS wearables and Athlete Management System clients. Shelby also has experience in biomechanics and research project coordination from her time at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, where she ran the motion capture system and handled IRB responsibilities in the Human Movement Performance Lab. In her spare time, Shelby enjoys traveling, working out, and spending time with family and friends.
